Frequently Asked Questions

I registered my beta key but never received an email with a confirmation code. What can I do?

You should first confirm that the beta email hasn't been filtered into your spam folder. The email will be sent from the user support@quakelive.com. If you have registered an account, but never received a confirmation email, try to create an account again with the same beta key.

I've created my id Beta Center account but cannot log into QUAKE LIVE. What's going on?

Make sure that you have created your QUAKE LIVE account. Your id Beta Center account is completely separate from your QUAKE LIVE account.

Why do I have to create two accounts to participate in the QUAKE LIVE closed beta?

The QUAKE LIVE closed beta requires you to have two accounts so that we can keep our beta environment where QUAKE LIVE is visible restricted to only the select players in the test. We also have to make sure that our testers are experiencing the full QUAKE LIVE registration process itself, as it is an important aspect of the experience.
